As part of the continued refresh of the tools we have available for our Chief Scout Members, today we are excited to bring you an updated Fixture Ticker!

This brand-new ticker is everything Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers need to make informed decisions based on the fixtures.

The Fixture Ticker is one of the most heavy traffic parts of the Members Area. As a result, we are always mindful of changing the most loved tools.

However, today we hope to have improved both the look and user experience of the Fixture Ticker, whilst maintaining everything that you previously liked about this feature.

Preset Colours

For some FPL managers, the Scout blue and red colour scheme is something that they love. Don’t worry: it’s still there!

But to make the Fixture Ticker cleaner and easier to read, we have updated it to default to Premier League colours.

Updated Ticker

If you would prefer to see the Fixture Ticker in good old Scout red and blue, you can choose this as an option. If you click Colours and then Colour Preset, you will see a list of four options:

Selecting FFScout OG will return the ticker to our original Scout colours.

For those Members who are colour blind or need a more colour-friendly experience, we have added a Colour Blind Friendly ticker.

Updated Ticker

There is also now the option to set your own colours – if you fancy pink and purple, you absolutely can!

Functionality

We have made the Fixture Ticker more user-friendly. too. It now fits correctly on both mobile and desktop, so you have the best experience regardless of how you choose to access it.

You can still tweak the ratings for each club, add and remove clubs and Gameweeks, move the clubs to different places in the table and sort the table by attack, defence, difficulty and more.

We have also added some more data points to the Fixture Ticker. If you hover over a specific match, you will see the form of the clubs (this will become more useful when the season starts).

And, if you hover over the club names, the ticker will now share the rankings for the clubs both home and away. It will also highlight these ratings in terms of attack, defence and overall.

Updated Fixture Ticker

We hope you enjoy the refurbished ticker – and everything else in our new-look Members Area!

Wirtz looking lively, Salah with the inevitable goal and some great passes, Gravenberch does what he wants in the midfield, Kerkez defensively stable and Frimpong the one going forward. Doesn't feel like it will take many games before everything really clicks.

Very. He's been in the middle on many occasions when Liverpool are counter attacking and should have had more passes to him.

WTF have they done to the season ticker in the members area!!! Absolutely hate it.what a joke!!! You used to be able to quickly slide a team up or down, now you have to click on an arrow to move 1 space at a time. The click is ONE space at a time. Fine perhaps for ONE team, but if like me you want to drag up 3/4/5 teams to the top for a rotation or the like, or block of fixtures, is a real pain in the a...!

The font for the away teams is teeny tiny too....GRRrrrrrrr. What happened to sort by Attack or defensive difficulty.. Just WHY do they have to f.......k with things without asking the opinion of those that are PAYING for the tool.... Last time, I will move to elsewhere now.

I have been withouth Salah for almost all of my drafts. My brain says no Salah, but my nerves says to have him anyway. I expect him to have a 230-250 season and I'm not sure that's worth it.

Last year I went without Haaland for the same reason, that he wouldn't be worth that price. A painful couple of first weeks but then I got into the 100k fairly quickly after that. Not sure which way I'll go this time, Salah or no Salah.

other good options for sure, just from a personal viewpoint dont want to play about with captaincy too much this season after being left behind last season because i did. even in the first 3 gw period, expect salah to get 25-ish points. would be fine with that.

Looks ok. For mine I've dropped Wood to JSL and spent the cash on Reijnders to Rice [insert preferred mid].

I quite like it and tempted to go for it. Can use first WC to get out of trouble if it goes pair shaped.

1 point off the bench, then sell for other 5.5 mids, no?

Anderson is right there as a fallback buy, unlikely to haul enough for massive price rises

      2. The Tinkerman
        • 9 Years

Yup, agree. Still tempted though, he could be any 5.5, but he’s the most exciting at that price. Arguably I should play safer on that spot considering the bench.

    2. JBG
      • 7 Years
      5 hours, 20 mins ago

Besides Malen, where's the risk? No Salah you mean? Personally not convinced Haaland will be good without Rodri so going with Salah for that reason.

      1. The Tinkerman
        • 9 Years
        5 hours, 18 mins ago

Yeah it’s mostly just Malen given the bench, I am willing to take the risk on him though I think. Haaland the better option from the start imo, especially if Isak joins Liverpool. Salah from ~GW4.

        yeah for sure

    2. Zalk
      • 14 Years

Gakpo should have played in both Wirtz and Szoboslai on two different occasions and he would easily been on two assists now. Not overly impressed with him in this game, he's been a bit too wasteful and selfish.

        • 10 Years

ah fair enough. at least being heavily involved it sounds like. doubt he can be considered nailed even if isak doesnt sign, but like diaz last season worth the risk for the upside. 1,2,15,3 is fine 😀

      "I’d suggest reading the article.

The actual takeaway is more “Newcastle pushing to agree a deal with Leipzig after receiving encouragement that he hasn’t rejected them”, rather than “he’s decided to join Newcastle ahead of United”.

Ultimately no different to the situation in the last few days. Hopefully we receive clarity soon though."

It’ll still be worth monitoring Slot’s tactics and personnel choices over the coming weeks. It’s noticeable how much Conor Bradley (£5.0m) has been ‘underlapping’ in pre-season, popping up as a right-sided 10 with Salah outside of him. There was more of that in Japan.

But if you throw Jeremie Frimpong (£6.0m) into the equation, for instance, Salah’s role changes, as the Dutchman seems more of a width-holder.

was just thinking about set and forget bruno. like if you expect him to be in the 190-ish region, i don't expect an increase in g+a playing abit deeper and with mbeumo/cunha and maybe another striker about so 190 feels fair. then its not great value is it? expect the better 6mil defenders to be hitting 170. so its 20 points gain for 2.5mil extra (if you play 4 back). hardly even 0.5ppg extra. you think its much better to find the 1.5mil for Palmer? can understand why palmer seems template, guess most expecting 6, maybe even 6.3ppg+ from him

I understand the overload vs Wolves, but the advice on short-term BB plays is usually to focus on nailed players

I'd go Bowen over Gyökeres for BB1, using the funds for Reijnders to Kudus or Mitoma... Unless we get some indication that Reijnders starts

think lacroix will be a sleeper pick that'll do very well. and then 1 gw abit into the season will score, get a cs, +15 points and go way up to like 5th highest scoring defender and then people will take notice

dont see a reason why the forest CBs shouldnt be great for DC points again as well, nuno wont really change the way he plays. maybe europa will take a toll, only time will tell on that

bruno should be good again yeah

spurs defence could be good with frank

This time last year Diaz looked electric at home to another Spanish team and overlooked him for Jota (RIP) when Diaz was clearly the pick

        this was the game

Interesting that Jota also scored and then of course scored against Ipswich

Every time I read about Jota’s death, it’s like I’m reading it for the first time. I’m still shocked and it doesn’t sink in - it just doesn’t seem real. 🙁

I remarked on it the other day. So surreal

Will never forget the moment the news broke. Can remember hearing of MJ’s death and Gary Speed’s

    A. Sels, VVD, Salah, Ndiaye (3-5-2)
    B. Sanchez, Milkenovic, Gakpo, Haaland (3-4-3)

How’s this draft look? One glaring omission of course!

    Sels
Ait Nouri, VVD, Porro, Neco Will
    Palmer, Bruno, Rogers, Kudus
    Haaland, Wood

    Dubravka, Guiu, Le Fee, Dorgu

Gakpo might be a better pick than Wirtz?

Might be in mid December with Salah out.

think wirtz gets more mins and on some set pieces, but like gakpo differential for sure - just think there will be some earlier subs as well

Is there a 4.5m forward I can get to put on bench (who will play most games)?

    Evening everyone.

When considering our squads for the start of the new season surely we need to take into consideration when the City and Chelsea players returned to pre-season training after their CWC exploits? Does anyone have the information?

They’re back, but I’ve been holding it high on the agenda re their late return. I’ve often got Saka over Palmer due to it and Citeh assets are already largely blacklisted due to minute issues

Many thanks Ser Davos.Yes the minutes-risk with City players is as worrying as working out who their starters will be.

Man City had their first preseason friendly behind closed doors, I think yesterday

Chelsea players resumed training at Comham today

Many thanks Ze_Austin. It does cast a real doubt over who starts for each club and the game time they’ll have.

From my memory, the preseason topic is usually forgotten before GW3

I wouldn't put too much stock into it, unless you're planning an early wildcard

Two weeks of training is usually enough for a settled team, imo

Chelsea reported back for preseason training today.

      13.07 - CWC final
      08.08 - Leverkusen friendly
      10.08 - Milan friendly
      17.08 - GW1

They may have games behind closed doors arranged.

Cheers Tony! It’s not an ideal timeframe for a pre-season is it? I normally like to go with teams and players who’ve had good preseasons under their belts.
