Have a benching headache this week...
Front 8 of Salah, Saka, Son, Richi, Palmer, Darwin, Solanke, Haaland.
    Bench one of:
    A) Richi
    B) Solanke
    C) Palmer

Thinking Richi as can't be sure he's even ready to start yet.

To make it harder I was thinking of moving Richi to Havertz for the Luton game and beyond, what ya think? Cheers.

I think it's gotta be Richarlison from those, maybe Solanke. No way Palmer - have you seen how many shots United concede?

Yea not sure why I've put him on the list to be honest, man is a double digit haul magnet.

If I were to switch Richi to Havertz I guess Solanke is the one to bench?

Bottomed. Morris to Darwin and bench Watkins? FH34 and WC still in hand if that makes a difference.

    Pickford
    Gabriel, Gusto, Porro
    Son, Salah, Palmer, Saka, Foden
    Toney, Watkins

Yes. Took a couple games to get up to speed. But, Endo has been excellent. I'd expect a mid of Endo, Mac, Sobo. Always a chance of rotation. Elliot and Jones have also been very good. Gravenberch has been unfortunate - still a decent option.

Long answer long: If you're gonna get him. At home to Sheffield is the week. Great option, if no FH34.

Still waiting on the press conference times for the day but there should be team news from the 10 clubs playing on Tuesday. The Beeb say the pressers include Fulham, Burnley, Tottenham, West Ham and Brentford, so that's at least one other from the Weds games too (Brentford).

Looks like there'll be a few of these press conferences taking the form of embargoed quotes from the weekend, which is not ideal.

Newcastle's, for instance, was done straight after the West Ham game: https://www.nufc.co.uk/nufc-tv/latest-videos/howe-pre-everton-h-media-briefing-23-24/

Tell me if this works on Fantasy challenge please. Using the 'hack' ideas from the recent article.

(5-4-1, at least at the start) '(-?)' means they might be subbed out.

    Kelleher
Disasi (-?), Van Hecke (-?), Ait Nouri, Bradley, Gomez
    Garnacho (-?), Salah, Saka, Palmer
    Haaland
    Bench: Ortega, Son, Isak, Wood

The idea is, my three outfielder bench players play on Tuesday, I see how they do. I then take out 1, 2 or 3 of Disasi, Van Hecke and Garnacho, replacing them with non playing players.

I think the captaincy has to stay on Haaland, I don't think I can game it so an incoming sub picks up the captaincy.

I doubt I'd do this every week but just to understand it.

It works, but benching forwards this week seems mad to me.

What happens if Wood scores two and Isak scores none?

I get the point, bench order matters. I guess then, you'd have to judge whether to take the blanks from the players you had 1st and 2nd on the bench in order to get the 3rd player off the bench. It's not a straight forward hack is it.

Salah plays Everton and Fulham in 34, surely you use it then ?

Of the two, taking the question in isolation, without any more context - Solanke. On a FH, I'd have both.

Im a bit lost in what to do here guys. Team is:

    Areola/neto
    Gabriel/burn/ake*/porro/branthwaite
    Son/saka/gross/palmer/foden
    Solanke/watkins/haaland

i have 2FT and just WC and BB left.

Do i dead end into 34 and wildcard 35 or WC now with this team??

    Thanks all!!

Impossible to say, without options of what you can afford.

Probably downgrade Watkins to Semenyo, get Salah. Dead end 34.

Put some options out, and you'll crowd source some answers. Make an effort 😀

Isn't semenyo an equally better option if not better than mateta? In a better attack, nailed, cheaper, I'll probably BB in 34 & WC outta it in 35
Also eze/olise better options in attack?

Best cheap attacker for the next four games? Can play Gordon in 32, 33 if needed.

    A) Mateta
    B) Semenyo
    C) Muniz
    D) Cunha

Was initially thinking mateta, but semenyo might better? Specially as I'm looking at BB34 & semenyo enables it, more haul potential

Semenyo’s next two fixtures are better but I like Mateta more for the double in 34. Could be that Semenyo’s minutes are better then Mateta in 34 though.

then probably mateta is fine, Semenyo lets me keep son & foden till 33

    2FT and £2.9m ITB.

Obvious moves are Son + Watkins to Salah + Darwin. Planning to WC in 35. Anyone suggest anything more creative?

    Dubravka
    Gabriel - Saliba - Porro
    Saka - Palmer - Son - Foden
    Haaland - Solanke - Watkins

    Bench: Areola; Zab, Konsa, Gordon
