Want to shift Maddison. Would you guys go Odegaard, Havertz, or Diaz? (Or another!)

Already own Saka and Salah, for that matter

    What’s the best move(s) (FH34 & BB37)?

    A. Kaminski > Petrovic/Dubravka
    B. Saka & Toney > Garnacho & Haaland (-4)
    C. Doughty > Gusto/Ait Nori

    Kaminski (Areola)
    VVD Gabriel Branthwaite (Pau Doughty)
    Palmer Son Salah Saka Foden
    Toney Isak Muniz

Gotta love Foden. Gives me 20pts one week from hattrick, and 9pts from not playing next GW (sub). In fact he is getting so many points he might be better captain option than Haaland

I hope not, add 5 points and that’s exactly my situation!

But yes, I wouldn’t be worried if it wasn’t possible. Relies on at least 20 point gain on FH and things going your way but I’ve seen bigger leads overhauled in that time

Playing Onana or Petrovic. I have Onana starting for now. Will probably do Sama to Foden if no injuries midweek and Bradley to Burn (if Bradley lesks he wont start).
Did Lascelles to Brathwaite this GW which gave me 6pts from bench. I saw he has Sheffield U in 37 at home. It aint a DGW but I guess its a good choice

Are you thinking about getting 3 Spurs in 35? In which case who and for whom? Since if Udogie was an option you could maybe do that if Saka to Foden frees up enough money.
Or were you thinking a mid for Salah?

Thanks. That’s what I’m thinking. Spurs this week could be high scoring too. And around 3m could be handy to upgrade elsewhere, as much of a wrench as it would be to sell Saka

    2. Kingy109
      • 2 Years
      1 month, 12 days ago

Saka to Gordon is probably the template play, although it will hurt to lose him. He's back in FH34 though and most of the GW35 wildcarders will drop him on wildcard so its really 1 week versus Villa you'll be without him. You do have some differential options I think, although I wouldn't be brave enough in my own team.

If you are feeling brave than me and want a third Spurs you might want to consider Johnson for Saka or even Werner for Darwin. Both will get minutes if not 100% starts, Johnson has shown he can be an impact player off the bench also.

Or maybe Gabriel for Hall, if that frees up enough money as you could easily play Van Hecke versus Burnley in GW33. You'd be betting that Villa could score against Arsenal (and Livramento stays injured)? Maybe pick a Spurs mid in 35, or get Gordon then as you prefer.

Another brave option is for a keeper - Verbruggen has quietly started the last 4 games for Brighton and has 22 points in those 4 games. Brighton seem to be scoring less and defending better all of a sudden. Of course, what you really want is him to play both in the double and Steele could easily get one of those games, although Verbruggen seems to be edging into being the favoured keeper. He is the cheapest doubling keeper though and has Burnley this week.

Rough: nothing major; Ait Nouri, although he’d probably have lost his CS points if he’d stayed on, and I was hoping for some jammy Kerkez CS points.

Smooth: bit of a meh week but Turner to Pickford (benched Leno) was a highlight. Lead in ML down to just under 60 thanks to my rival’s Porro points, but hope should be defendible over the last 6GWs. Small green to 45k

Sold Saka and benched Pau, losing 7 points from transfers :/

      Pre-transfers:
      XI: Saka (10) + Bailey (5) + Pau (1)
      Bench: Toney + Kerkez
      = 16

      Post transfers:
      XI: Haaland (8) + Palmer (5) + Ait-Nouri (4)
      Bench: Bailey (5) + Pau (1)
      Hits: -8
      = 9

To be honest, though, I actually would have captained Son if hadn't bought Haaland, so I've only lost 4 points, and I'm better set up for a later WC in GW36 instead of GW35, assuming Ait-Nouri isn't out, so...swings and roundabouts.

      Smooth

Making steady progress in a few mini leagues where I haven't got the top spot.

A Salah captain or Haaland would have made the difference over 5 points doubled, it's that close in a couple.

    Kelleher
    Schar Gabriel Gusto
    Palmer Saka Salah Son
    Haaland Darwin Solanke

    Onana Garnacho Udogie Branthwaite

    2FT. 0.9ITB
FH34 so need to use the FTs this week, BB37.

    1. Saka (AVL) or Salah (CRY) to Foden? (the other will become Kev by 37)
    2. Darwin (CRY) or Solanke (MUN) to Isak? (or Hojlund or Jackson for the LOLs)

I'd be selling Solanke for sure and then Foden in makes sense. Probably Saka out but it ain't pretty.

    i currently have 5 doublers for GW34 (and 4 for 37).

so I can use 2 more transfers to get to 7 doublers for GW34
and then use FH on 37

FH 34 and then use my 33,35,36 & 37 transfers to get to 8 doublers in GW37

however transferring in players for 37 is more speculative as we don't know who will be fit/playing then

    so do I FH 34 or 37?

FH37 sounds better to me. There’s some decent Singles in 34 and I’d expect more rotation by 37 so useful to have the flexibility

2FTs and you are missing at least 2 Arsenal and 1 Liverpool for 34

Just messing around with a potential BB in 34 with a few single GW’ers in there etc, but obviously I’d rather BB in 37 with doublers.

However isn’t it more risky BB’ing that late into the season with players having nothing to play for by then etc?

This isn’t new news I’m sure, just trying to decide which GW is best 🙂

Answered your own question Ricicle. Team dependent I guess. Is a -4 ok for a BB if youre WC straight after for eg? Makes life a lot easier last 4 GWs but think Id need to sacrifice DGW players for budget reasons.

Cheers Buzzbomb! Haha I know yeah, I hear ya. It certainly would make the last 4 weeks easier with planning and nothing wrong with a -4 before WC’ing I’d say.

        Team right now is

        Dubravka
        Gabriel - VVD - Saliba
        Son - Saka - Salah - Palmer
        Solanke - Haaland - Darwin
        __________________________
        Areola: Sarabia: Branthwaite: Baldock

Just thinking maybe Son + Areola + Dubravka can become Foden + Neto + Pickford, giving like 11 doublers and the rest SGW’ers but two of them city with a good fixture against Brighton, and see if I can throw someone cheap in there with the remainder of up to 4.1m, like van Hecke or something.
Dead end and WC in 35

        Oh yeah just noticed haha!

I’m comin round to just getting it out the way in 34, but need to maker first as I’ll need to plan for it quick, got 2FT’s now and at a maximum I’d only need to take a -4 if I want a full 15 playing with a few single gameweeker’s

    Neto/Areola
    Gabriel, Saliba, Porro, Bradley, Gusto*
    Salah, Son, Foden, Palmer, Maddison*
    Haaland, Darwin, Muniz*

    2 ft, 1.7 mitb, FH34, BB37, WC?!? OR 240k (chasing big time)

Maddison to Havertz/Saka? Hate to lose dgw player, but I can't see more than 4 pts to Maddison during dgw35. Lucky assist is always possible though. Neto to Petrovic? Do I start building for BB37 even with WC left? 5 free transfers left. One idea was Muniz + Maddison to Gordon + Isak, but Newcastle looked poor.

Been saying for the past couple of GWs that Maddison is an easy sell regardless of chip strategy. Woeful form and too many early subs.

Yes, I agree. Should have sold him last week for free or before for a hit 🙁 Not season ending mistake, but huge one, I admit.

Never trust player's form after injury. Lesson learned again 😉 However, jumping at right players fast is also needed.
