“When I arrived here in the locker room. In the last meeting in the hotel, he was playing. He didn’t say anything to me.

“But he started to feel bad and bad. Vomiting when he arrived. He didn’t feel good to play.

“One of the secrets at the high level is adapting quickly to the chaos. There’s no time to complain. Kyle is not here, so he’s not here. Nathan is not here, so he’s not here. Kevin cannot play, we play with 11. I would prefer him to be here. Hopefully he can be [back] next Wednesday.” – Pep Guardiola after being asked when he decided Kevin De Bruyne wouldn’t start

Arsenal at home to Villa - too tough a fixture to play two Arsenal defenders?

Planning to bring in Gabriel, Branthwaite and Mateta over the next two GW's. This brings me to 12 doublers for DGW34, when I plan to BB (not set up for a BB37). But I will need to use do at least one of these transfers this week.

Thinking maybe go to other direction and get Mbuemo and Saka instead of Haaland and Foden. I already have Toney, Darwin, Watkins. Watkins can be delight against Bournemouth and I have feeling that Haaland and Foden will be rested against Luton, because CL game against Real Madrid is obviously all-in game.

Even thinking that Alvarez can be better pick considering ManC assets.

I know, weird situation. Can I really be without ManC assets against Luton.. risky. What do u think, guys?

I would FH29 again in similar circumstances.

Obviously FH29 ended up being a disaster but stand by it being the better decision for my team at the time rather than making sub optimal transfers in the weeks leading up to it. Got WC for GW35 so can deadend somewhat into 34.

What's the point of Kompany even doing a press conference? Like it's even worth Burnley hiding team news from other teams at this stage of the season. When the team is so appallingly bad, what advantage does Vincent gain by being so obtuse on injury news?

It's going to be a glorious day when he relegates Burnley and we don't have to endure his pressers anymore!
